Dr Martina Di Braccio

Dr Martina is an experienced Clinical psychologist. She takes a curious and warm approach in exploring people' experiences, strengths and struggles. She creates a safe space to jointly envision avenues for change. Dr Martina specialises in offering therapy to adults facing a variety of difficulties such as Anxiety,
low mood and Trauma. She also supports people in their relationships and those adjusting to life transitions including ageing and physical or neuropsychological problems. She draws from various therapeutic approaches to meet her clients specific needs, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and systemic therapies. She has a keen interest in therapy that is inclusive to people coming from all backgrounds and walks of life.


Dr Martina has ten years of experience in the mental health sector in a variety of settings and roles in the NHS, private healthcare, universities and charities. In the last few years, her NHS work has focused on offering therapy to clients with complex psychological difficulties and trauma, and those adjusting to older age, physical health and neurological problems. Dr Martina has also offered therapeutic support to those experiencing the pressures of caring for others in their life. She has significant experience in neuropsychology and cognitive adaptations in therapy. Dr Martina strives to offer culturally sensitive, LGBTQ+ affirmative and trauma-informed support to make therapy accessible and meaningful to all.


When working with Dr Martina, you can expect a gentle and curious exploration of your current challenges, wishes and values and to build an honest, collaborative therapeutic relationship to help you bring the changes you wish to see in your life. 


As well as being an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist (PYL39009), she holds CBT therapist accreditation and is trained in systemic therapies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and EMDR. Dr Martina holds an honours degree in Psychology as well as a Masters and Professional Doctorate
degrees in Clinical Psychology.
