Vana Lamprogianni

Vana Lamprogianni is a qualified Counselling Psychologist who works with adults, children, and young people, and also offers parenting support. She has a particular passion for supporting adults through emotional challenges, helping them process life experiences, reconnect with themselves, and move toward meaningful change.
With over 8 years of experience in Early intervention services, schools, and adult mental health settings - including inpatient care - Vana brings a warm, grounded, and compassionate approach to her work.
Her practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, neurodivergent-affirmative, and trauma-informed. Vana is committed to creating an inclusive, non-judgmental space where clients of all identities, neurotypes, and backgrounds feel safe, respected, and truly heard.
Vana uses an integrative, person-centred approach that honours each client’s unique needs and experiences. She draws on creative tools such as art, mindfulness, and play-based techniques to support emotional expression and self-exploration, particularly with younger clients or those who connect more easily through non-verbal means.
Vana is experienced in supporting a wide range of issues, including anxiety, OCD, low mood, grief and loss, identity exploration, self-esteem, behavioural and neurodevelopmental differences, and relationship challenges. At the heart of her work is a deep respect for her clients’ individuality and a belief in the healing power of being seen, accepted, and supported as one’s authentic self.
Vana is a registered Counselling Psychologist (HCPC, PYL38372). She holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She is currently offering online sessions on Fridays and in-person sessions on Thursdays on Mare Street in East London.
