Dr Frederike Mueller

Dr Frederike Mueller is a qualified Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working with adults, young people, and families across a wide range of services.​ She provides a warm, thoughtful and collaborative space where individuals can explore emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship challenges and life transitions. Dr Frederike also supports adults navigating parenting challenges, burnout and the impact of difficult life experiences. She has particular experience in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including people with ADHD and autism, as well as those experiencing sensory processing differences. She also has specialist expertise in tinnitus, hyperacusis and misophonia.

Dr Frederike's approach is integrative and draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), systemic and attachment-informed approaches. She aims to understand people within the context of their relationships, life experiences and wider environments, and is particularly interested in the interaction between stress, emotional wellbeing, neurodivergence and health. She maintains an inclusive, non-discriminatory practice and warmly welcomes individuals who have experienced discrimination or systemic bias.

Alongside her clinical work, Dr Frederike leads staff wellbeing, consultation and training programmes for professionals working with children, young people and families. She is passionate about creating psychologically safe spaces that support reflection, resilience and meaningful change.
Dr Frederike is a registered Clinical Psychologist (HCPC, PYL040272). She holds a Master’s in Psychology and in European Social Policy, alongside her Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She offers online sessions on Monday and Friday mornings, and Monday evenings.
